Germanus Shio

Germanus is a Consultant at Rook Consultants. He holds a Masters in Revenue Law & Administration and a Bachelor of Law Enforcement,both from the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Law.

Germanus joined Rook Consultants in October 2016 and has been involved in various tax researches and consultancies for different clients.

He has been involved in providing advice on the tax implications for a transfer of business, advice on the rights and obligations of directors of companies in Tanzania.

He has also assisted clients with completing and filing their company returns with the Registrar of Companies, process tax registrations and business licenses.

In addition he has been involved in conducting VAT refund audits and certifications, Monthly payroll calculations, Withholding tax calculations and payments, returns completions and submissions to TRA.

Some of the companies that Germanus has provided services to include Barclays Africa Group Limited (“BAGL”), Desmi Africa Limited, Aviat Networks Tanzania Limited, Suma Hydro Limited, Luponde Hydro Ltd etc.
